Alberta Tackie
Alberta Tackie is T-TEL’s Curriculum Implementation, Teaching and Learning Coordinator. She is an education and development professional with a varied range of skills and experience in providing quality and timely support to national institutions and programme management processes. She has over thirteen years’ experience working in the Ghanaian education sector. Over three years providing institutional-level support to colleges of education in Ghana; a year working with National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) to roll-out a new pre-tertiary curriculum: and nine years working to develop and strengthen educational research at the tertiary level with National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE).
She also has experience in producing concise and informative reports for donor agencies and charities such as the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and World Bank. Alberta holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies and Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana respectively.
