Teacher Professional Development is at the core of educational reform. We support the Ghana Education Service to institutionalise and integrate professional learning communities into the school culture. This involves facilitating weekly school-based professional learning community sessions led by coordinators who use structured handbooks based on the curriculum content. Continued weekly training in PLC sessions, combined with regular lesson observation PLC session enable teachers to support each other to effectively deliver the curriculum by developing activities that align with the curriculum and enhance student understanding.
